2.Construction requirements for installing rubber fenders

2.2.Before installing the fender and gangway,check the shape,size,material and performance of the fender to ensure that it meets the requirements of the technical specifications,and check whether the installation position and elevation of the embedded parts and embedded bolts are accurate.

2.3.During installation,the rubber fender must be in contact with the wharf tightly.The nuts for fixing the fender must be fully tightened,the top of the bolts retracted into the fender,and the embedded depth of the bolts must meet the requirements of the drawings and manufacturer’s instructions.The exposed iron parts must be removed Rust,then use anti-rust paint to protect,rubber fender and gangway quality inspection in accordance with relevant standards.
